About the Job

Global Skills Meet is a UK-based global company looking for confident and enthusiastic Telecallers to join our growing team in Bangalore.

This is a telephone-based outreach role focused on connecting with micro and small businesses, introducing our website solutions and arranging online meetings for interested businesses to learn more.

You are not expected to close sales over the phone.

Your job is to start conversations, identify businesses that may benefit from our services, create interest and secure appointments with potential clients.

You will spend a significant part of your day speaking with new businesses, so you must be confident and comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations.

Calls can be made in Tamil or other Indian languages, depending on the businesses you are contacting.

What You'll Be Doing

- Making outbound calls to micro and small businesses
- Introducing Global Skills Meet and our website solutions
- Having natural conversations rather than simply reading from a script




- Asking questions to understand the business and its requirements
- Creating interest in our services
- Booking online meetings with interested businesses
- Following up with businesses you have previously contacted
- Building positive relationships with potential clients
- Working towards individual call and meeting-booking targets

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

- Confident speaking on the telephone
- Comfortable contacting businesses they have never spoken with before
- Friendly, professional and approachable
- A strong communicator
- Positive and resilient
- Motivated by achieving targets
- Able to communicate in Tamil or other Indian languages
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in customer engagement, appointment setting, business outreach, telecalling or a similar telephone-based role would be beneficial, but it is not essential.

The most important thing is that you are confident on the phone and happy to speak with current businesses throughout the day.
