Prepare and cook Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and quality standards.
Handle daily mise en place for the Chinese kitchen section
Ensure proper taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned kitchen section.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of food items.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth food production.
Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in clean and working condition.
Support Commis II/III and kitchen trainees when required.
Follow all hotel policies, kitchen procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements




Good knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
Knowledge of wok cooking, sauces, noodles, rice, and other Chinese preparations.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
Positive teamwork and communication skills
Culinary qualification will be an added advantage.
