Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at an Orion Group Of Hotels property in Delhi, OH. The Barista prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation in line with hotel standards. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the coffee station, managing inventory of beverages and supplies, and following food safety protocols.

The role involves greeting guests warmly, taking orders, processing payments,



and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. The Barista also supports the wider food and beverage team during peak hours, assists with setup for events when needed, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient café environment.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage courteously with diverse guests and colleagues.
- Experience in beverage preparation, ideally in a café, restaurant, or hotel environment, including basic knowledge of coffee and tea varieties.
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, food safety, and clean work practices in line with hospitality standards.
- Ability to handle point-of-sale systems, manage cash or digital payments accurately, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Capacity to work on a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a positive attitude toward guest service in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in hotels or food and beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
