Key Responsibilities

- Support applicable pre-funding, post-closing and targeted QA/QC reviews within established Service Level Agreement and review-cycle timeframes.
- Perform detailed, evidence-based reviews of applicable lending files, applications, accounts and servicing activity across HNWL, securities-based lending, credit cards and residential mortgage products. Assess the accuracy, completeness and consistency of information; verify adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, product requirements and quality control standards; and identify red flags, documentation gaps, data discrepancies and credit, compliance, operational, servicing or origination defects.
- Evaluate applicable customer, transaction, credit, collateral, account, approval, disclosure, closing and servicing documentation to confirm that required information is complete, accurate, supported and consistent across relevant systems and source documents.
- Use the active product questionnaire, approved procedures, testing plans, desk guides, job aids and case evidence as the source of truth for each review. Determine applicability, trace each requirement to authoritative evidence, compare information across systems and documents, and clearly document the conclusion and any precise mismatch.
- Perform reviews across applicable stages of the product lifecycle, including application or origination, underwriting, account opening, credit decisioning, approval, documentation, closing or booking, transaction processing and servicing, to assess compliance with consumer regulations, Bank policy and procedure, product requirements and quality control standards.
- Organize and maintain review populations, evidence and results in applicable systems. Document and communicate clear, supportable findings, including the requirement tested, evidence reviewed, defect description, severity, area of responsibility and recommended corrective action.

- Assist with timely and accurate reporting of QA/QC results, defect rates, trends, root cause analyses, action plans, remediation status, aged or uncured defects and other management information.
- Partner with the business, operations, underwriting, credit, compliance and servicing teams, as applicable,



to validate findings, complete root cause analysis, track cures and action plans, support calibration and confirm sustainable remediation.
- Appropriately raise and/or escalate problems and issues to management.
- Have a friendly, positive and professional demeanor and a willingness to grow.
- Provide excellent oral and written communications with strong attention to detail.

The team This position is for a "Banking QA/QC Analyst" role within the Banking Group of "Global Wealth Management Americas" (GWM), supporting quality assurance and quality control activities across applicable lending, mortgage, credit cards and servicing products.

The Banking QA/QC Program includes applicable pre-funding, post-closing and targeted reviews, including timely and accurate file or account reviews, issue and defect identification, classification, action planning, remediation, calibration, communication and thorough reporting.

Your Skills And Experience

- At least five years of recent lending, mortgage, banking, servicing, operations, underwriting, compliance or quality control experience.
- Strong understanding of one or more lending or banking products, with the ability to apply consistent QA/QC principles across residential mortgage, HNWL, securities-based lending and credit cards, and to learn additional products quickly.
- Working knowledge of applicable regulatory, investor and quality control requirements, which may include TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, HMDA, Flood, KYC/AML, Regulation U, mortgage underwriting standards and internal credit requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth, evidence-based reviews of loan files, applications and accounts in accordance with active questionnaires, approved procedures, desk guides, job aids and internal and external QA/QC standards.
- Ability to demonstrate a control mindset,



make sound decisions and propose recommendations to mitigate or reduce business risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio; report-building experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with changing and challenging deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear and direct communication, proposals, presentations and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
