Knowledge of database backup, replication, and high availability setups.
Experience with database performance tuning and monitoring tools.
Basic to intermediate administration skills in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills - Scripting knowledge using:
Bash
Python
Shell scripting
Experience with automation and infrastructure tools.
Knowledge of database security best practices.

Experience - 3–6 years of experience in database administration.
Hands-on experience with open-source databases in production settings.
Experience supporting cloud-based database infrastructure is preferred.

Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Nice to Have - Experience with database monitoring tools.
Azure, OpenSource certifications related to database administration.
