Apprentice Trainee Program – Quality Assurance (QA)

The Apprentice Trainee Program - QA is designed for recent graduates in B.Tech (CS) / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (CS) from the 2025 & 2026 batch. This program allows participants to gain real-world software testing and quality assurance experience. This apprenticeship program not only provides hands-on experience in key testing methodologies and tools but also offers a clear pathway to full-time employment for high-performing candidates.

Program Highlights

- Duration: 1-year apprenticeship program.
- Technology/Domain: Software Testing (Manual testing).
- Stipend: Government-approved stipend will be provided during the entire period.
- Performance Evaluation: Apprentices will be regularly assessed throughout the program based on their testing skills, learning progress, and contributions.
- Full-Time Job Opportunity: Based on performance, trainees will be offered a full-time position as a QA Engineer

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech (CS) / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (CS)
- Graduation Year: 2025 & 2026 graduates only
- Academic Criteria: Minimum 65% in graduation with no active backlogs/back papers.
- Coursework: Must have completed at least a 3-month formal software testing course (Manual)
- Skills:




- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Fast learner with a strong desire to pick up new tools and testing practices quickly.
- Positive communication skills to explain bugs and test scenarios clearly.

Responsibilities

- Understand business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results accurately.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools until resolution.
- Perform regression, integration, and sanity testing on web or mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest software testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
