Job Overview

n

We are looking for a US Accounting & Compliance Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities for US-based business operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with US accounting principles, reconciliations, financial records, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage day-to-day US accounting and bookkeeping activities.
n
- Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR, and account reconciliations.
n
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
n
- Support preparation and maintenance of financial statements and accounting schedules.
n
- Ensure accounting records comply with US GAAP and applicable US regulations.
n
- Assist with US tax and regulatory compliance activities and documentation.
n
- Coordinate with internal teams, accountants, auditors,



and external stakeholders as required.
n
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
n
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
n
- Stay updated on relevant US accounting, tax, and compliance requirements.
n

Required Skills

n

n
- 1–5 years of experience in US Accounting / US Finance / Accounting & Compliance.
n
- Good understanding of US GAAP and US accounting practices.
n
- Experience with General Ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.
n
- Familiarity with US tax/compliance processes.
n
- Strong MS Excel skills.
n
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems is preferred.
n
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Willingness to work 7 PM–4 AM IST and work onsite in Gurugram.
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent.
n
- Experience supporting US-based clients or companies is highly preferred.
