Role Description The Admission Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Admission

Counselor will guide prospective families through the admission process, providing accurate information about the school’s curriculum, values, facilities, and programs. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person; conducting campus tours; organizing and participating in admission events; and maintaining detailed records of leads, visits, and applications.



The role involves counseling students and parents on suitable grade placement, assisting with application documentation, coordinating with academic and administrative teams, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming admission experience.

Counselor will also support outreach activities, follow up with prospective families, and contribute to meeting enrollment goals in alignment with the school’s mission.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid customer service skills to deliver a professional, empathetic, and responsive admission experience.
- Candidates should possess basic sales skills to manage inquiries, follow up with leads, and support enrollment targets ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of education environments, preferably with experience in schools or educational counseling.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or management is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and comfort using admission or CRM systems.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate within a diverse team, and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an added benefit.
