Role Description The Admission Counsellor role at Career Mantra is a full-time, on-site position based in Gwalior.

The Admission

Counsellor will guide prospective students and families through course and college selection, providing accurate information on programs, eligibility, fees, scholarships, and admission processes.

Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (in person, over phone, and online), following up with inquiries, and maintaining detailed records of interactions in internal systems.



The role involves coordinating with educational institutions, supporting seminars and events, and contributing to outreach activities to increase student engagement and enrollment.

The Admission

Counsellor will work closely with team members to meet counseling and conversion targets while ensuring a supportive, student-centric experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and institutional partners.

- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide a positive, responsive, and solution-oriented counseling experience.

- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining ethical and student-focused guidance.

- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, particularly in academic programs, admission processes, and career pathways.

- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Counseling, Management, or related fields preferred).

- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency in MS Office, CRM or student management systems, fluency in English and local languages, and the ability to work with targets and timelines.

- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education services is an advantage.
