Role: Power BI Developer + Administrator with Python Automation

Location: PAN India

Prerequisite Skills: Power BI Developer + Admin with Python automation experience. DAX, SQL, and Python coding experience are mandatory.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer/Administrator with strong expertise in Power BI development, platform administration, and Python automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing enterprise reporting solutions, administering the Power BI platform, automating operational tasks, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the Power BI workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and dataflows.
- Develop complex DAX measures and Power Query M transformations.
- Connect Power BI to SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Oracle, and other enterprise data sources.
- Optimize report performance and improve user experience.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Power BI Administration

- Administer Power BI Service, Premium/Fabric capacities, gateways, and workspaces.




- Configure tenant settings, deployment pipelines, and workspace governance.
- Manage user access, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Microsoft Entra ID security groups.
- Monitor refresh schedules, capacity utilization, gateway performance, and platform health.
- Perform tenant administration, licensing management, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
- Support platform upgrades, migrations, and environment management.

Python Automation

- Develop Python scripts to automate Power BI administrative tasks.
- Automate dataset refreshes, report deployments, workspace management, and metadata extraction.
- Integrate Power BI with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Azure services, and ServiceNow.
- Build automated monitoring, health checks, notifications, and reporting solutions.
- Develop self-service automation tools for Power BI operations.

Platform Support

- Troubleshoot report, gateway, refresh, and connectivity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cloud, and security teams.
