Role Description The 2D Interior Designer will work on-site at Homebell Interiors’ Noida location in a full-time capacity, developing detailed 2D layouts, floor plans, and furniture arrangements for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include translating client requirements and design concepts into precise drawings, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and coordinating with senior designers and project teams to refine design proposals. The role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their style, budget, and functional needs, and revising designs based on feedback.



The designer will also assist in documentation for execution, including measurements, space planning details, and basic cost estimations, while ensuring all designs align with brand standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong 2D design and space planning skills, with proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of interior design principles, including color theory, materials, furniture layouts, and residential/commercial design standards.
- Ability to translate client briefs into clear 2D drawings, mood boards, and presentation materials that communicate concepts effectively.
- Good visualization, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, designers, architects, and execution teams.
- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in 2D interior design or space planning is preferred.
- Familiarity with current design trends, sustainable materials, and practical solutions suited to various budgets and project scales.
