HMIE was established in Nov 2006 at Hyderabad, Telangana State, India by Hyundai Motor Group.

HMIE is a center with one of the advanced support services for research and development of Hyundai- KIA Motor Company (Namyang, South Korea), Hyundai Motor India Limited (Chennai, India) and Kia Motors India Private Limited (Penukonda, India). HMIE focuses on engineering services and quality enhancement.

About Hyundai India Digital Design Dept - Hyderabad

n

Develop Exterior and Interior 3D Models for different design reviews and Presentations. Image or scan data based high-quality surface development for Concept to CLASS A stages.

ALIAS DIGITAL DESIGNER (CAS / CLASS-A SURFACE MODELER)

n

Roles & Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop high-quality digital surface data for Automotive Exterior & Interior design projects.
n
- Create and refine Class-A and production-feasible digital models using Autodesk Alias.
n
- Collaborate with Hyundai Global Design Studios and engineering teams.
n
- Support concept & production vehicle development programs.
n
- Translate design intent into precise, manufacturable digital surfaces.
n
- Support digital model validation, quality reviews and design presentations.
n




- Contribute to advanced digital modeling workflows including SubD and image-based surface development.
n

Educational Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Automotive Design field.
n
- 3-5 years of qualified experience in Automotive OEM Design Studio.
n
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Alias (Class-A / CAS).
n
- Experience in Image-Based Modeling, STL based data development and production-oriented surfacing.
n
- Good understanding of vehicle proportions, form language, aesthetics & automotive design process.
n
- Experience with SubD / Polygon Modeling is preferred.
n
- Knowledge of CATIA Freestyle is an added advantage.
n
- Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
n
- Passion for automotive design and digital craftsmanship.
