ROLE SUMMARY
The Executive / Sr. Executive — Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, Tax / cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, inter-division purchase allocations, and statutory compliance (VAT/GST/Sales Tax filings) across domestic and international entities. The role demands solid hands-on experience in tax compliance, reconciliation, GL accounting, ERP operations and an eye for detail in multi-entity environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Allocation: Inventory allocation from one entity to multiple entities;
maintain opening, movement and closing inventory (accounting for transit time gaps).
COGS: Prepare and allocate COGS as per purchase / inventory movement / closing inventory.
VAT / Sales Tax Return Filing: File all applicable VAT / GST / Sales Tax returns as per the statutory due date calendar for US, EU, UAE, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Cyprus and New Zealand;
maintain filing / compliance tracker.
Input / Output Credit: Track and maintain records of all input and output credit taken.
Reconciliation:
Reconcile all input / output credit factors against financial numbers (revenue/sales, expenses, customs duty/BOE based input credit).
Accounts Payable: Support international divisions with booking of expenses and bank / Amex transactions.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent;
semi-qualified CA / CMApreferred.
Experience: Executive — 2 to 4 years in international tax / accounts payable / cost accounting / GL. Sr. Executive — 4 to 7 years with hands-on multi-entity or international accounting exposure.
Technical Skills: ERP experience with Perfect Fit / Odoo preferred;
proficiency in MS Excelincluding advanced reconciliation and pivot tables;
working knowledge of VAT / GST / Sales Tax compliance across US states, Canada, UAE, EU, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand;
