Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead MDPE pipeline laying, tie-in, and LMC (Last Mile Connection) works for City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects across East, North, and South India.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a Third Party Inspector (TPI) with a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or Inspection Agency and should possess strong expertise in CGD pipeline execution, quality assurance, pressure testing, commissioning, and compliance with PNGRB guidelines.

The role involves complete site execution, contractor management, safety compliance, client coordination, and quality documentation for MDPE pipeline and service connection projects.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor MDPE pipeline laying and LMC/service connection works as per PNGRB guidelines and applicable IS/ASME codes.
- Supervise site execution teams and contractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with PMC/Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies for stage-wise inspections and quality approvals.




- Ensure proper electrofusion and butt fusion jointing, pressure testing, tie-ins, and commissioning of pipeline sections.
- Track project progress, manpower, material utilization, and daily site activities.
- Coordinate with local authorities and landowners for Right of Way (ROW)/Right of Use (ROU) permissions.
- Implement HSE practices, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure safety compliance at project sites.
- Maintain QA/QC records, joint history sheets, pressure test reports, and as-built drawings.
- Resolve site-level technical and operational issues in coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 - 3 years in City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects.
- Mandatory experience as a Third Party Inspector (TPI) with a PMC or Inspection Agency on CGD/pipeline projects.
- Solid knowledge of MDPE pipeline laying, electrofusion/butt fusion jointin
