- Receive and dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital orders.
- Verify the drug name, strength, dosage, quantity, route, and frequency before dispensing.
- Check prescriptions for possible medication errors, allergies, interactions, or duplication and clarify concerns with the doctor when required.
- Provide appropriate instructions to patients regarding medication use, dosage, timing, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain proper records of medicines dispensed and returned.
- Maintain stock of medicines, surgical items, and other pharmacy supplies.
- Check expiry dates, batch numbers, damaged packs, and storage conditions regularly.
- Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) for stock management.
- Maintain appropriate temperature and storage conditions for medicines, including refrigerated items.
- Maintain separate and secure storage for controlled, high-alert, and other specially regulated medicines as applicable.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare purchase/reorder requirements.
- Receive medicines from suppliers and verify quantity,



batch number, expiry, and invoice details.
- Maintain pharmacy registers, purchase records, stock records, and dispensing records.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of expired or damaged medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, stores, accounts, and other hospital departments.
- Participate in medication-safety and infection-control activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Follow hospital SOPs, NABH requirements, medication-safety policies, and applicable legal/regulatory requirements.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and qualified ethics.
- Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, shortages, and other pharmacy-related incidents to the appropriate authority.
- Participate in pharmacy audits, stock verification, training, and quality-improvement activities.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
