Role Purpose
n
The Portfolio Lead will lead enterprise-wide initiatives, overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of programs and projects that drive business value and digital transformation. This role requires a blend of business acumen, program management discipline, and a strong understanding of technologies. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise goals while maintaining compliance, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
n
Program Governance & Strategy
n
n
- Coordinate and execute the program roadmap in alignment with enterprise strategy and business priorities.
n
- Align and follow governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, ethical AI adoption, and transparency.
n
- Partner with Business, IT Partners and Technology teams in finalizing high-impact projects.
n
- Coordinate with Business, IT Partners and Evangelists to develop business cases, ROI models, and success metrics for initiatives.
n
n
Stakeholder Management & Engagement
n
n
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT partners.
n
- Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to executive leadership and steering committees.
n
n
Program Planning & Delivery
n
n
- Oversee end-to-end execution of programs — from intake, assessment, and prioritization to deployment and hyper care.
n
- Coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives
n
- Drive alignment across functions (Business, IT, QA, CSV, and Architecture) to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
n
- Implement standardized tools and methodologies for project tracking, documentation, and performance evaluation.
n

Risk, Quality & Compliance Management
n
n
- Ensure all projects adhere to internal quality standards, security guidelines, and industry compliance (GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
n
- Manage program risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans proactively.
n
- Collaborate with validation and QA teams to align AI solutions with compliance frameworks.
n
n
People & Capability Development
n
n
- Mentor project managers, business analysts and technical leads within the program.
n
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing
n
n
Qualification and Experience
n
n
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
n
- Post graduate program in management from Tier 1 institute.
n
- 5+ years of experience in managing technology programs, including at least 3–5 years large programs.
n
- Strong financial acumen, understand the capital and operational expense management concepts.
n
- Proven experience in enterprise-scale program management, ideally within Life Sciences or Pharma domains.
n
- Familiarity with Agile, Protected, or hybrid delivery models for complex technology programs.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
n
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and third-party collaboration for delivery.
