Company Details: Our client is in chemical manufacturing Designation: General Manager – Accounts & Finance Job Location: Fort, Maharashtra Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Accounts & Finance to independently supervise and manage the overall Accounts & Finance functions of the Group, including its companies, entities and Trusts. The role will involve Accounts Finalisation, Audit, Taxation, Banking, statutory compliance and coordination with the CMD/Directors and external professionals. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and control the accounting functions of all Group companies, entities and Trusts. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure proper maintenance of books and financial records. Handle preparation and finalisation of annual/final accounts as per applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS and Companies Act provisions. Establish and maintain effective internal accounting controls, systems and procedures. Identify financial and accounting risks and implement appropriate controls. Oversee banking transactions,



reconciliations and other banking-related activities. Maintain effective liaison with Bank Managers and banking officials. Coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit queries. Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, GST, Qualified Tax (PT) and other applicable statutory requirements. Coordinate with tax consultants/advisors regarding assessments, notices, appeals and other taxation matters. Monitor statutory due dates and ensure timely filing of returns and payments. Independently liaise with banks, Government authorities, statutory authorities, consultants and other external parties. Provide timely financial, accounting and compliance-related information to the CMD/Directors . Independently follow up on matters assigned by the CMD/Directors and ensure timely completion.
