Key Responsibilities
 Lead the design and development of apparel collections from concept to final product.
 Research current and upcoming fashion trends, colors, silhouettes, prints, fabrics, and
market trends.
 Develop creative concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations.
 Select appropriate fabrics, trims, embellishments, and materials based on design and
commercial requirements.
 Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, production, and other cross-functional teams to
ensure smooth product development.
 Provide clear design direction and ensure accurate execution of designs.
 Review samples and provide feedback on fit, construction, styling, fabric, and overall
aesthetics.
 Ensure that collections are aligned with the brand’s design language and target customer.
 Balance creativity with commercial considerations, including cost, quality, production
feasibility, and market demand.




 Monitor competitor activities and identify current opportunities for product and design
innovation.
 Ensure timely completion of collections and design projects as per business timelines.
 Maintain consistency in design quality and brand standards across collections.
Required Skills & Competencies
 Strong knowledge of Fashion Design and Apparel Development.
 Good understanding of fabric, trims, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
 Strong knowledge of current and emerging fashion trends.
 Ability to develop commercially viable and trend-driven collections.
 Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
 Good understanding of market and customer preferences.
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
 Strong attention to detail and quality.
 Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education & Experience
Minimum Qualification: B.Com or relevant qualification
Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience in Fashion/Apparel Design.
