Job Title: Radiographer

Job Summary:
A Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and other diagnostic machines.
Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols.
Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any complications.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Review images for quality before submitting them to radiologists for interpretation.




Perform routine equipment checks and report faults or maintenance needs.
Comply with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications:-DRRT,DRT,BMIT,BSC IN RADIOGRAPHY

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of human anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
Knowledge of radiation safety principles.
