Solar Sales Manager – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the solar sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.

· Generate leads and drive sales for rooftop, on-grid/off-grid solar solutions.

· Coordinate with Sales Executives for customer visits, follow-ups, and closures.

· Develop new customers, dealers, channel partners, and business opportunities.

· Handle customer meetings, quotations, negotiations, and sales closures.

· Monitor daily sales activities, team performance, and prepare sales reports.

· Ensure proper follow-up with customers from lead generation to order confirmation.

· Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve productivity and achieve targets.

Candidate Qualifications:

· Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is an advantage.

· Experience: 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar/renewable energy industry.





· Minimum 1–2 years of team-handling experience preferred.

· Robust knowledge of solar products, rooftop solar, and basic solar system concepts.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, customer-handling, and leadership skills.

· Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a sales pipeline.

· Good knowledge of MS Excel, CRM, and sales reporting.

· Must be comfortable with customer visits and field sales activities.

· Should have a valid driving licence and willingness to travel locally.

· Robust problem-solving ability and a target-oriented approach.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
