Auditor – CA Firm

Location: NS Road, Kolkata
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Auditor to join a CA firm at NS Road. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, ROC compliances, GST and TDS. Candidates with practical CA-firm experience and the ability to independently handle audit assignments will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Internal Audits and prepare audit reports/working papers.
Handle Statutory Audit assignments and verification of books of accounts.
Assist/handle Tax Audit under applicable provisions.
Perform checking of ledgers, vouchers, bank reconciliation and financial statements.
Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation.
Handle TDS compliance, including TDS calculation, returns and reconciliation.
Assist with ROC/MCA compliance and filings.
Identify accounting discrepancies and report audit observations.
Prepare audit working papers, schedules and supporting documents.
Coordinate with clients for required documents and clarifications.
Assist seniors/partners in assessments,



notices and other compliance-related work when required.

Required Skills
Robust practical knowledge of Internal Audit
Hands-on experience in Statutory Audit
Knowledge of Tax Audit
Practical knowledge of ROC/MCA compliance
Good understanding of GST & TDS
Valuable knowledge of Accounting and Reconciliation
Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally
Valuable documentation and client-handling skills

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
Candidates with relevant CA-firm experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
