Junior Accountant

Job Summary

A Junior Accountant supports the accounting and finance team by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for entry-level specialists looking to build a career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain accurate accounting documentation and filing systems
Assist in preparing tax filings and audits
Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
Help prepare budgets and financial forecasts
Use accounting software to enter and manage data

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,



Finance, or related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally
Internship or prior accounting experience
Understanding of tax regulations and compliance
Ability to work under deadlines

Experience
0–2 years of accounting or finance experience

Salary Range

Varies by location and industry.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
