Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop current customers (garment manufacturers, designers, exporters, retailers).
Generate sales leads and convert them into orders.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
Promote fabric ranges (cotton, polyester, blends, knits, woven, etc.).
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable fabrics.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
Product Knowledge & Presentation
Maintain in-depth knowledge of fabrics, GSM, counts, weaves, finishes, and trends.
Present fabric samples, swatches, and catalogs to clients.
Educate customers about fabric quality, usage, and care.
Order Management & Coordination
Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders.
Coordinate with production, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
Track orders from confirmation to dispatch.
Ensure accuracy in order specifications and documentation.
Market & Trend Analysis
Monitor market trends,



competitor pricing, and current fabric developments.
Gather customer feedback and share insights with management.
Identify opportunities for new products or markets.
Sampling & Development
Coordinate sampling and fabric development as per customer requirements.
Follow up on sample approvals and bulk order confirmations.
Assist in product development discussions with mills and designers.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain sales reports, customer databases, and follow-up records.
Submit regular sales forecasts and performance updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Trade Shows & Networking
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Build industry contacts and expand the customer network.
Credit & Payment Follow-up
Monitor customer credit limits.
Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
