Yash Dental Clinic in Mogappair is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse / Chair Side Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental care assistance and be committed to providing excellent patient care. The Dental Nurse will work closely with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assistance:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for each patient, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Escort patients to and from the treatment room, providing support and guidance.
Chairside Support:
Hand necessary instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.
Maintain explicit communication with the dental team to anticipate their needs during treatments.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
Record Keeping:
Accurately record patient information and treatment plans in the clinic's management system.
Update and maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment progress.
Infection Control:
Adhere to strict infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following established guidelines.
Front Desk Duties:
Greet and welcome patients to the clinic.
Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail in patient care, record-keeping, and infection control procedures.
