Prepares and oversees work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and make recommendations for personnel actions.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Monitor and provide age specific competent care and at birth vaccination to the neonates.
Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department. Periodically reviews department's policies and procedures, updates and amends with current information.
Consults with Nurse Manager concerning management of assigned units and all related matters.
Organizes, directs and coordinates functions and activities in assigned units to improve delivery of nursing care.
Identifies and reports to the Nurse Manager, areas of nursing care delivery that requires in service education to promote optimum care.
Ensures accurate maintenance of patients medical records ,reports,statistics and that records are treated as confidential information.
Assigns personnel to patients based on acuteness of patient care needs and staff availability.
Directs maintenance of departmental facilities, equipment,



supplies and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff.
Maintains a protected, comfortable and therapeutic setting for patients/ families in accordance with hospital standards.
Assists attending physicians and aids patients and families as needed in times of stress or crisis.
Ensures orientation of current employees ,monitor productivity targets of the unit.
Monitoring and maintaining the unit KPI' s.
Adjusts staffing to meet needs and to provide adequate coverage of unit during off shift and consults the department manager for long term staff adjustments.
Enhances skilled growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in service meetings and workshops.
Attends meetings as required and actively participates on committee as directed. Prepares quarterly report of all assigned activities.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
