Role & responsibilities
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations of SolidWorks CAD solutions.
Understand customer design workflows and recommend appropriate SolidWorks solutions.
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) based on customer requirements.
Provide pre-sales technical support during customer engagements.
Install, configure, and support SolidWorks software at customer sites.
Deliver user training and workshops for customers on SolidWorks products and best practices.
Assist customers in resolving technical issues related to modeling, assemblies, drawings, and simulation.
Support customers in CAD data migration and interoperability with other CAD systems.
Work closely with sales teams to prepare technical proposals and respond to customer queries.
Participate in seminars, webinars, technical events, and customer meetings.
Stay updated with current SolidWorks releases, features, and industry trends.

Document customer issues, technical solutions, and implementation activities

Preferred candidate profile
Solid hands-on experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD.




Expertise in:
Part Modeling
Assembly Modeling
Sheet Metal
Weldments
Surface Modeling
Drawings & GD&T;
Good understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, casting, and plastic design.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Experience with SolidWorks PDM is preferred.
Familiarity with CAD data exchange formats such as STEP, IGES, Parasolid, and DXF/DWG.
Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to interact directly with customers and deliver technical solutions.
Experience with SolidWorks Simulation, Motion, Flow Simulation, or Composer.
Exposure to CAD migration projects.
Knowledge of PDM/PLM concepts.
Basic understanding of APIs or automation using VBA, C#, or SolidWorks API is an advantage.
Familiarity with CAM or manufacturing software is a plus.
