We are looking for an experienced Hardware Reliability & DVT Lead with robust experience in hardware reliability, product validation and embedded products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Reliability Engineering and DVT activities for embedded hardware products.
Perform MTBF, FIT rate, Weibull analysis and reliability calculations.
Conduct thermal derating and power component stress analysis.
Develop Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD) and calculate acceleration factors.
Define product lifetime, duty cycle and environmental reliability requirements.
Define and manage EVT/DVT/PVT validation plans and criteria.
Review test plans and ensure coverage for components such as:
Thermal printer head
TouchPOS
LCD
Keyboard switches
Power adapters
Soundbox
Plan and manage HALT, HASS, temperature cycling and power cycling tests.
Drive failure analysis, root cause analysis and issue closure.
Mentor and guide DVT/Validation engineers.
Support CE, FCC and RoHS compliance activities.
Support EMI/EMC mitigation at PCB and enclosure level.
Required Skills
4+ years in Hardware Reliability / Validation / DVT.
Robust experience in embedded hardware products.
Experience in Power Electronics and Thermal Systems.
Hands-on experience with MTBF, FIT, Weibull and reliability prediction.
Experience with ReliaSoft / Weibull++ or similar tools.
Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-217, IPC and JEDEC standards.
Experience in Accelerated Life Testing, HALT/HASS.
Positive understanding of thermal analysis and schematic-level stress review.
Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Experience with POS, payment devices, printers, IoT or similar electronics products is preferred.
