Mariott is hiring for the role of Sales Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Collaborate with off-property sales channels to coordinate sales efforts and avoid duplication.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers to generate future bookings through sales calls, client entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, and other activities.
Develop community relationships to expand the customer base and identify new sales prospects.
Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide accurate, complete, and effective handovers to Event Management.
Participate in sales calls to acquire current business and close sales prospects.
Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including preparing proposals, drafting contracts, and managing customer correspondence.
Identify new business opportunities to achieve individual and location revenue goals.
Analyze market conditions, competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand to develop effective sales strategies.




Close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location requirements.
Understand target customers, their business needs, and service expectations to provide suitable business solutions.
Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through exceptional customer experiences.
Serve existing customers to increase account share and generate repeat business.
Execute and support the company’s customer service standards and daily service basics.
Set a positive example in guest relations.
Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

Requirements:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related qualified area.
4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
