Role & responsibilities
Assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment in the thermal power plant.
Monitor electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, generators, switchgear, MCCs, control panels, and circuit breakers.
Perform routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions such as overheating, unusual noise, vibration, or electrical faults.
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
Take and record electrical parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and temperature.
Assist with motor and pump maintenance, cable inspection, and electrical panel maintenance.
Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), electrical safety, PPE, and plant safety procedures.




Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during equipment start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.
Maintain daily equipment logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and restoring equipment safely.
Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained in the electrical work area.

Preferred candidate profile

0- 1 Yrs ,B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE)
