Roles & Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare initial project budgets, material take-offs, and cost estimates using engineering drawings.

BOQ Management: Develop, analyze, and update the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as project drawings change.

Tendering & Procurement: Assist in creating tender documents, evaluating contractor bids, and negotiating prices.

Contract Administration: Review contracts, identify contractual obligations, and manage claims and disputes.

Cost Reporting: Provide regular financial MIS reports to senior management on project cash flow and budget adherence.

Billing Engineer Responsibilities ;

Measurement & Verification: Record and verify site measurements from engineers. Create and check Joint Measurement Records (JMR) with clients and contractors.

Bill Preparation & Certification:



Prepare and certify Running Account (RA) bills and Final Bills according to approved measurement standards (e.g., IS codes).

Rate Analysis: Calculate rates for Non-BOQ or extra items and get approvals before execution.

Material Reconciliation: Track actual material consumption against theoretical requirements to ensure no wastage.

Subcontractor Management: Verify, process, and reconcile vendor and subcontractor invoices for timely payments.

ERP/Software Entry: Maintain billing records, track approvals, and log data in management software (like BSF, or specialized construction ERPs Roles & Responsibilities:
