Job Title: Junior Analyst Gas Chromatographic Analysis (Drug Testing Laboratory)

Minimum Qualification
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic Chemistry preferred).

Experience Requirement
1–2 years of practical experience in Gas Chromatographic (GC) analysis.
Exposure to analytical laboratory operations, including troubleshooting of GC instruments.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized Gas Chromatographic analysis of drug substances and formulations.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain GC instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Troubleshoot instrument issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
Conduct sample preparation, method execution, and data interpretation as per procedures.
Document analytical results in compliance with laboratory SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Ensure adherence to Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.




Collaborate with senior analysts and laboratory managers for workflow efficiency.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Gas Chromatography principles, operations, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with analytical techniques for chemical or drug testing by Gas chromatography like Assay, Residual solvents, Related substances (impurities) etc.
Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.
Handson experience with chromatographic software and data handling.
Attention to detail, problemsolving skills, and eagerness to learn advanced techniques.

Performance Indicators
Accuracy and reproducibility of GC test results.
Effective troubleshooting and minimal downtime of instruments.
Compliance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory standards.
Timely completion of assigned analytical tasks.
