Role & responsibilities
Implement company EHS policies, procedures and statutory safety requirements.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction and awareness training.
Prepare and maintain HIRA, JSA and risk-assessment documentation.
Monitor Permit-to-Work systems for electrical work, hot work, work at height and other hazardous activities.
Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees, contractors and visitors.
Inspect lifting tools, electrical tools, fire extinguishers, scaffolding, ladders and other safety equipment.
Maintain EHS registers, inspection reports, training records and statutory documentation.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.
Conduct emergency drills and coordinate emergency preparedness activities.
Monitor housekeeping, waste disposal and environmental compliance.
Coordinate with project engineers, contractors and management for closure of safety observations.
Support internal and external EHS audits.




Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and applicable statutory regulations.
Prepare weekly/monthly EHS performance reports.

Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS/HSE experience
Knowledge of industrial and electrical safety practices
Experience in conducting toolbox talks and safety induction
Knowledge of Permit to Work Hot Work, Height Work, Electrical Work and Confined Space
Experience in HIRA/JSA and risk assessment
Knowledge of PPE requirements and compliance
Experience in incident/near-miss investigation and reporting
Knowledge of emergency response and fire safety procedures
Ability to conduct site safety inspections and audits
Positive documentation and reporting skills
Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 preferred
Ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors and workers
Willingness to work at project/site locations when required
