Role & responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, etc.)
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis.
Work closely with manufacturing, electrical, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Review and revise existing designs to improve performance or reduce cost.
Conduct design reviews and document all engineering changes. (For ISO Documents)
Ensure that designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.
Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), design documentation, and product data management systems.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
45 years of experience in mechanical design.




Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge)
Knowledge of GD&T; and materials selection
Familiarity with design standards.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team workplace.
Exposure to or experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a robust advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel for technical meetings, client discussions, and on-site support as required.
