We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Python, GenAI & LLM to join EPAM and work on building intelligent, scalable and production-ready AI solutions.

This is an exciting prospect for professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering, Generative AI and emerging LLM technologies.

What you'll be working on:
Develop and architect Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
Build intelligent agents and multi-agent workflows using modern AI frameworks
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python
Design and implement RAG and Agentic RAG solutions
Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling and structured outputs
Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications, APIs, databases and knowledge repositories
Work with platforms such as Azure OpenAI,



AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex AI
Build solutions using vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB or Qdrant
Evaluate and optimize AI/LLM application performance
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data and Design teams

What we're looking for:
7–12 years of relevant professional experience
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience in Generative AI and LLM-based application development
Experience with Agentic AI and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or Google ADK
Solid understanding of RAG, LLM orchestration and prompt engineering
Experience working with leading LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or open-source models
Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, FastAPI/Flask, asynchronous programming and Docker
Experience with cloud AI platforms and vector databases
Solid system design, architecture and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
