Job Summary

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing HARMAN's automotive business to meet customer specific booking targets. You will engage with the customer in an early stage to create business opportunities and drive these opportunities with healthy commercials to award.

Responsibilities
Execute the pursuit strategy for recent business prospects in alignment with the customer account strategy.
Identify and create new pursuits and drive early engagement activities including war gaming and 10 standards
Own RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible for the quote as well as for commercial sourcing negotiations with the customer
Create game-changing unique selling proposition and value statements
Understand customer expectations (cost, requirements, timing) and define internal targets to meet them
Identify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop strategies to win current business

Qualifications / Strong Fit
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
15+ years of related sales experience




Thorough understanding of PL statements, business cases and quotes / contracts
Strong hunting and negotiation skills
Experience executing a strategy

Bonus Points if You Have
Basic technical understanding of Automotive HW and SW systems
Having knowledge and experience of ADAS is an added advantage
Understanding of Automotive OEM's organization and processes
Experience within or working with applicable customers

Things To Know
Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel
This role is based in Pune and follows a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office collaboration alongside engineering, product, and customer program teams.
