Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and competent Medical Oncologist with 2 to 5 years of relevant post-specialization experience to join the Medical Oncology team at Narayana Health, Bangalore.

The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive oncology care, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, systemic anti-cancer therapy, management of treatment-related complications, follow-up care, and coordination with multidisciplinary oncology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed malignancies and establish appropriate treatment plans.
Review clinical history, pathology, laboratory investigations and radiological findings for accurate diagnosis and staging.
Manage patients with both solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
Plan and administer systemic anti-cancer treatments including chemotherapy, targeted therapy,



immunotherapy and hormonal therapy, as clinically appropriate.
Monitor patients receiving systemic therapy and manage treatment-related toxicities and complications.
Provide appropriate supportive and symptom-directed treatment during cancer therapy.
Conduct regular outpatient consultations and inpatient reviews.
Participate in emergency management of oncology patients, including treatment-related complications.
Provide appropriate follow-up and surveillance for patients after completion of treatment.
Coordinate with radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, radiology, palliative care and other specialties for comprehensive patient management.

Eligibility / Qualification

Essential:
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
DM/DrNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the applicable State Medical Council / National Medical Commission.
2 to 5 years of relevant post-specialization experience in Medical Oncology.
