Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and result-driven R&D; Manager to lead our formulation team in Indore. In this role, you will take charge of designing and improving our wide range of cosmeticsincluding hair colours, shampoos, face washes, skin creams, and mehendi products. You will guide product concepts from the laboratory bench all the way to massive commercial factory production.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Formulate New Products: Lead the concept, design, and development of recent FMCG products across hair care, skincare, and hygiene segments.

Improve Existing Formulations: Upgrade our existing lines to enhance performance, texture, shelf life, or cost-efficiency.

Lab Testing & Quality: Oversee routine testing, including stability,



compatibility (with packaging), and active ingredient performance.

Smooth Factory Scaling: Troubleshoot and guide the factory production team when taking small-scale lab batches up to commercial scale.Ingredient Innovation: Research, source, and evaluate current raw materials and natural/herbal extracts from suppliers.

Ensure Compliance: Make sure all formulations meet strict regulatory standards, internal SOPs, and cosmetic guidelines.Lead the Lab Team: Manage, mentor, and track the daily performance of our internal research scientists and lab technicians.

Experience: 4 to 8 years of solid formulation experience in a cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing company.

Specialised Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge working with emulsions, surfactants, hair colors, or herbal pastes/henna.Problem Solving: A sharp analytical mindset to fix batch separations, texture issues, or color changes quickly.

Team Skills: Excellent communication to collaborate easily with Production, Quality Control, and Marketing teams.
