Job Description Emergency Medicine Doctor

Position: Consultant – Emergency Medicine
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Department: Emergency Medicine

Key Responsibilities
Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Manage medical emergencies, trauma, critical and unstable patients.
Perform emergency procedures including CPR, airway management, intubation, and other life-saving interventions as required.
Coordinate with consultants and other departments for timely referrals and further management.
Monitor critically ill patients and ensure appropriate escalation of care.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.




Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants.
Participate in emergency response, clinical audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.

Qualification
MBBS with MD in Emergency Medicine preferred.
Relevant experience in Emergency Medicine will be an added advantage.

Desired Skills
Solid emergency and critical-care management skills.
Positive clinical decision-making and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Experience in handling trauma and acute medical emergencies.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
