Job Description: Business Development Manager – Events

About the Role

We are looking for a energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager – Events to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for our agency's events and experiential marketing vertical. The ideal candidate will have a solid network in the industry, a sharp eye for opportunity, and the ability to convert leads into long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities for BTL/experiential/event-based mandates

(corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, product launches, conferences, if applicable, etc.)
Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients
Collaborate with the creative, production, and operations teams to develop winning event concepts and





accurate costings
Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and close deals within approved margins
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the events/advertising space
Represent the agency at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts (CRM reporting)
Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection from clients
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue and client acquisition targets

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field (MBA

preferred)
2–6 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably within an advertising, events, or

experiential marketing agency
