Position: Vehicle Diagnostics Tool Content Development Location: Bengaluru
Responsibilities:
Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software.
End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems e.g., engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc.
Understanding the requirement from OEM Specifications & Licensed data Analysis.
Simulation test of authored diagnostic content using both virtual setup & Vehicle testing.
Design & creation of workflow and evaluate sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X
Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester.
Verification and validation of authored diagnostic content on the vehicle.
Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations.
Continuous learning and self-development.
Closely interact with software engineering teams and technical experts from global teams.
Solid vehicle system knowledge,



including the sub-systems and components.
Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles and make it roadworthy.
Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals.
Ability to independently manage diagnostic testers.
Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc.
Good knowledge of wiring diagrams and conventions.
Good knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic].
Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.
Positive knowledge of tools like SVN, GitHub, MFALM, JIRA, BDX, Grade-X, IMSIS+, ODX Studio.
Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec e.g., HSX, HS+ etc. Good to have knowledge / experience in Programming languages.
Valuable to have exposure in Automation using Python.
Good to have knowledge in HTML.
