Payroll Specialist / Payroll Executive Indian Payroll Candidate only

Salary Range: 4 8 LPA

Department: Payroll / Finance / HR Operations

Employment Type: Full time

Experience: 36 years of relevant payroll experience (Indian payroll preferred).

Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field
MBA (Finance/HR) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in end-to-end payroll processing for employees in compliance with Indian payroll regulations.
Calculate and verify monthly salaries, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions as per company policies and statutory requirements.
Manage statutory compliances including:
PF (Provident Fund)
ESI (Employees’ State Insurance)
Qualified Tax
Income Tax (TDS)
Gratuity and Bonus (as applicable).
Ensure accurate data entry of employee master data, attendance, leave,



and overtime into payroll systems.
Process Full & Final settlements, arrears, and salary revisions.

Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with payroll software (SAP / other payroll tools preferred).
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
Valuable understanding of salary structures, CTC breakups, and tax calculations.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple payroll cycles.
