6–9 years overall experience, with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Team Lead who can lead a team of developers while remaining hands-on with application development, architecture, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Node.js, backend development, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Node.js developers.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
Define technical architecture, development standards, and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Break down requirements into technical tasks and provide effort estimates.
Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.




Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Participate in system design, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
Mentor team members and support their technical growth.
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate solutions.
Promote automated testing, CI/CD, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Skills
6–9 years of overall software development experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Excellent experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
Positive understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-based application development.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Git and mod
