Looking for an experienced Collections Manager to manage collection operations, external collection partners and recovery-related activities for a leading financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the performance of collection agencies/vendors.
n
Evaluate vendors, monitor their performance and manage commercial/invoice-related activities.
n
Manage repossession and litigation activities.
n
Coordinate with auction companies and law firms for repossession and legal matters.
n
Monitor litigation cases and ensure timely updates and closure.
n
Develop and manage processes for fraud, complaints, bankruptcy and repayment rescheduling.
n
Monitor and report performance of special handling cases.
n
Develop and document collection policies and SOPs.
n
Support collection process and system setup for new business initiatives.
n




Test collection systems and identify process/system issues.
n
Work closely with internal teams, collection agencies, legal partners and other stakeholders
n

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
8+ years of experience in collections within Consumer Finance / NBFC.
n
Strong experience in collection agency/vendor management.
n
Positive understanding of repossession, litigation and recovery processes.
n
Experience handling fraud, complaints, bankruptcy and rescheduling cases.
n
Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SQL/database knowledge is an advantage.
n
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Bachelor's degree preferred.
