Role Description The Presales Support Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role involves working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and support solution design for solar projects. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical evaluations, creating system layouts and integration plans, preparing cost and performance estimates, and responding to technical queries from potential customers.

The Presales Support

Engineer will participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, ensuring that proposed solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.



The role also includes coordinating with engineering, installation, and support teams to ensure smooth project handover from presales to execution.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Integration skills to design, validate, and troubleshoot solar solutions.
Candidates should possess Presales and Sales skills to prepare proposals, support client presentations, and collaborate with the business team.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of solar PV systems, hybrid inverters, and related components, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, energy, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
Experience in the solar or broader renewable energy industry, and familiarity with design tools or simulation software, is an advantage.
