Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based in Raigarh.

The Safety

Officer will oversee day-to-day health and safety practices, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, leading accident and incident investigations, and recommending corrective actions. The role involves organizing and delivering safety training sessions, promoting safety awareness among all staff, and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and security teams to maintain a safe workplace.

Officer will also prepare safety reports,



maintain documentation, and support audits and regulatory visits as needed.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
Proficiency in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Experience with Safety Training, including development and delivery of safety programs and toolbox talks.
Understanding of Security practices in industrial or utility settings.
Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with Indian safety regulations, standards, and permit-to-work systems.
Ability to conduct risk assessments, prepare safety reports, and maintain accurate safety records.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors at all levels.
Prior experience in power, utilities, or heavy industry environments is an advantage.
Skilled safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are preferred.
