Job Responsibilities
Manage plant-level quality management and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Handle and resolve customer complaints through effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Conduct CFT (Cross-Functional Team) meetings for timely resolution of quality issues.
Strong knowledge of tubular components and related quality requirements.
Attend and face customer audits in English whenever required.
Manage New Product Development (NPD) quality activities and documentation.
Conduct and support ISO internal audits and ensure compliance with quality systems.
Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation as per customer requirements.
Establish a daily quality review mechanism and monitor key quality parameters.
Develop and implement appropriate inspection methodologies for processes and products.
Monitor and control PPM levels and take corrective/preventive actions.
Analyze defect phenomena, identify root causes,
and implement effective corrective actions.
Drive process cost reduction and minimize quality-related losses.
Monitor IHR (In-House Rejection) and take necessary improvement actions.
Implement Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with Stores and Dispatch teams for PDI and ensure quality clearance before dispatch.
Ensure proper implementation of quality procedures, standards, and documentation across the plant.
Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Valuable understanding of PPAP, PPM, CFT, RCA, CAPA, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen.
Knowledge of ISO audit procedures.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive customer handling and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage plant-level quality activities.
Good English communication skills for customer audits and interactions.
