Job Description:
Perform mechanical maintenance and repair work on plant machinery and equipment.
Attend breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance activities.
Installation, dismantling, alignment and maintenance of pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators and other rotating equipment.
Carry out piping maintenance, fitting and fabrication-related activities.
Identify mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
Handle tools and equipment safely while performing maintenance jobs.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment reliability.
Support shutdown maintenance and plant maintenance activities.
Ensure proper housekeeping and follow all safety procedures.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
