Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Embedded Tester to validate embedded firmware, hardware functionality, communication interfaces, and device performance. The role involves Embedded C code understanding, functional and system testing, binary/hexadecimal data analysis, protocol testing, debugging, and defect reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform end-to-end validation of embedded firmware and device functionalities.
- Read and understand Embedded C code, header files, structures, unions, and macros.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Test sensors, displays, peripherals, and embedded interfaces.
- Analyze binary, hexadecimal, and decimal data.
- Verify bitwise operations, bit flags, bit masks, and data packing.
- Analyze memory structures and data layouts.
- Test communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-232/RS-485, and Ethernet.
- Test valid, invalid, corrupted, incomplete, and unexpected data conditions.
- Analyze logs, telemetry data, console output, and test results.
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Write clear and detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.




- Maintain proper testing and defect-tracking documentation.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Embedded Systems and C programming.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and firmware.
- Good understanding of hardware-software interfaces.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and datasheets.
- Good analytical and logical thinking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good technical documentation and bug-reporting skills.
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
- 0-2 years of experience in Embedded Testing, Firmware Testing, or Embedded QA. Freshers with positive knowledge of Embedded C and Embedded Systems can apply.
- Software Testing / QA course or certification is not mandatory.
- Experience in Avionics, Aerospace, Automotive, ADAS, Robotics, IoT, or Real-Time Systems is an advantage.
