Medical or any associated educational background
Coding experience with relevant certification
Solid hands-on knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Demonstrated sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
Ability to think creatively
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Familiarity with CMS and payer-specific guidelines
Ability to accurately review and interpret clinical documentation
Immediate availability (0-15 days)
