About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to own quality assurance across Salesforce implementations spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate combines solid Salesforce platform knowledge with modern automation expertise (especially Playwright) and is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and defect analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute QA strategy, test plans, and test scenarios for Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds.
- Develop, review, and maintain manual and automated test cases/scripts covering Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Playwright (and Selenium/Provar/Copado where applicable), integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply AI-powered testing tools/techniques (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, self-healing locators, intelligent test prioritization, LLM-based defect triage) to improve automation efficiency and coverage.
- Validate Apex triggers, classes, and batch jobs; write and maintain unit tests to ensure high-quality code.
- Write SOQL/SOSL queries to validate data integrity within Salesforce.
- Execute functional, regression, UAT, API (REST/SOAP), and integration testing.
- Manage data loading and validation using Data Loader, Workbench, or similar tools.
- Identify, log, and manage defects using JIRA/Azure Dev Ops/Xray/Zephyr, ensuring high-quality releases aligned with Salesforce best practices.




- Support release management, UAT, and production validation, including performance, security, and compliance testing.
- Proactively recommend testing solutions and improvements rather than waiting on direction.
- Communicate effectively with client technical partners, admins, developers, and business users to clarify requirements and align on implementation.
- Mentor junior QA team members, conduct code/test reviews, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Platform Knowledge

- Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom objects.

Testing Expertise

- Functional, Regression, UAT, API (REST/SOAP), and Integration testing.
- Apex testing: validating triggers, classes, and batch jobs.
- SOQL/SOSL query writing for data validation.

Automation & AI Tooling

- Hands-on experience with Playwright (required); Selenium experience a plus.
- Experience with AI-assisted/augmented testing tools or workflows (e.g., AI test generation, self-healing scripts, intelligent bug triage) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Provar or Copado is a plus.

Tools & Practices

- Data management tools: Data Loader, Workbench.
- Test management: JIRA, Xray, Zephyr (or Azure Dev Ops equivalent).
- Agile/Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams — sprint planning and estimation.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication and collaboration with admins, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest testing solutions independently.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
